The Operations Department is responsible for the monitoring of our fleet’s performance and taking care of our vessel’s needs while at sea or in port. We aim to be proactive in identifying issues and providing solutions to all the problems that may arise and potentially have an adverse effect on the fleet’s smooth operation. Operations is responsible for the safety of the ships and their crew members, by making sure that all necessary safety items are provided on a regular and scheduled basis and upholding a Safety, Quality and Environmental Management System (SQEMS) founded on the International Safety Management (ISM) Code.

The Technical Department is responsible for the maintenance of the vessels under our management and the efficient operation of the fleet, always maintaning compliance with the relevant national and international regulations. Our Engineers implement our policies and procedures, ensure that we adopt and follow Industry Standards and apply a well-established Planned Maintenance System. Repairs are identified and carried out promptly and efficiently, to minimize off-hire periods and ensure the safe operation of the vessels.

The Quality and Safety Department acts as the link between our onshore teams and our fleet, ensuring the integration and implementation of measures concerning Health, Safety, Security, Quality and Social Responsibility and protection of the Environment. The team monitors the certification process of the ISM code and performs internal and external audits both onboard and offshore and updates the management and the vessels on all matters related to safety in accordance with the requirements of their flag states. It is also responsible for all safety and pollution preventing procedures which guide the operation of each vessel and ensure that adequate resources and shore-based support are provided.

Falcon’s Crew Management Department ensures that our vessels are manned with qualified, skilled, certificated and medically fit seafarers in accordance with all international requirements. We work together with leading Manning Agents on the recruitment of seafarers, as well as their preparation by the Manila based Training Department which provides courses for our crew using approved training materials.

The Supply Department is charged with the task of supplying the fleet’s vessels with premium quality services and goods including stores, paints, lubricants and chemicals and our offices with equipment and consumables. The team has established relationships with major suppliers to ensure that we purchase high quality supplies, with a focus on cost-effectiveness, availability and efficiency.
